Cute Little Girl With Dwarfism Dances Adorably To “Shake It Off”
October is Dwarfism Awareness month and in lined with this, here’s a video, which I believe, all of you will appreciate.
Rilee
is a little five-year-old girl. Little not only because she’s only five
years old, but also because of her body stature. She has an in-born
pathological condition called Achondroplasia. It’s a kind of Dwarfism
that is characterized by having short unproportioned limbs which is the
most common as opposed to that of the midgets with well-proportioned
limbs. There are times that they are made fun of or ridiculed. This may
be the reason why many of them tend to be shy or reserved.
Nowadays,
people with this condition are not called dwarfs anymore but little
people. They may not be as physically normal as we are, but they are
definitely mentally normal just like anybody else.
This
lovely little girl, small as she may be, doesn’t take it seriously as
long as she’s enjoying her life. It doesn’t stop her from doing what she
loves to do, and that is dancing. Whenever she hears Taylor Swift’s
song “Shake It Off,” something in her suddenly comes alive. She stands
up and literally shakes it off, dancing until the music ends.
Her
mom, knowing that she loves this song, played it and started to film
her dance performance. She might have been tired so she stopped a little
bit, but still continued afterwards
This
nice video was not only created to display Rilee’s enthusiasm, but to
spread dwarfism awareness as well, in a sense. It’s one of the perfect
ways of recognizing our little folks who also have something better to
contribute to our society as we do, because they're no different after
all.
